For our Head office in Bergen, Norway, we are seeking a Senior Java Developer
who is looking for an exciting and challenging career in Vimond Media Solution

As Senior Java Developer in Vimond Media Solution, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving our architecture and technology to the next generation of products and integrations. You will join our dedicated team of professionals in setting the vision and strategy for the architecture of our products and platform as well as implement the new solutions.

You must have the ability to analyse and learn rapidly changing web-related technologies and apply them as part of integrated solutions to business requirements, as well as work experience in the software development process including requirements gathering and analysis, design, selection of tools and technologies, release and version control, testing methodologies and deployment management.

You offer:

• Long development experience in Java
• Experience with multiple development languages and platforms
• Experience with setting the vision and strategy for architecture and implementing the solution
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions
• Ability to understand the business and see the big picture
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures 
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. 
• Extensive experience and judgment with planning and accomplishing goals performing a variety of tasks.
• The ability to multitask.
• A solution oriented, positive mind-set and good cooperation skills.
• Excellent oral and written English

• If you can or have knowledge of several programming languages
• If you have knowledge of SQL and/or noSQL

• If you master several languages, other than English
