R&D department at Visma Software is looking for a Usability Engineer/ Researcher

This is why we are looking to reinforce our HCI-group with a person in Norway or Sweden.

The position entails the following:
Your responsibility is to perform usability research, as a part of the Visma HCI-group, on the products being developed at Visma Software. This will mainly be focused on applications for the Windows-platform and the WEB.
You will furthermore be the end-user advocate and evangelise and educate the importance of human-centered design in the development process at your department. You will report to the HCI-group leader/Usability Architect.

Professionally
- Higher education within the field of Human-Computer Interaction and/or Cognitive Psychology.
- Previous work experience within HCI/Usability research/testing is an advantage.
- Good analytical skills.
- Experience in conducting field research and/or performing statistical research. SPSS experience is an advantage.
- Experience in working with one or some of these interfaces - Windows, WEB and/or Mobile.
- A strong sense and interest in finding usability constraints/obstacles and translating them into good interface design.
Additionally
- Some experience in project management.
- Good communicative skills in english.
