Mesa Boogie D180 with Diesel 2X15 cab and DBX266XL Compressor

Mesa D180 amp with the classic Diesel 2X15 speaker cabinet. Favoured by Cliff Burton, this amp is the absolute best I have ever played used and in my opinion, nothing can match this set-up for punch, growl and clarity.

Great rig with an interesting/fun history. First owned by Pat Badger (Extreme). He sold it to the Bass Centre in London. I bought from them in 1992 (circa) and used it in many bands including Fast Eddie Clarke's Fastway thorough to 1999 when I moved here to Norway.

Always maintained and serviced by a Mesa engineer regularly during the time I played professionally.

New complete set of quality (JJ Electronic) matched valves installed a couple of years ago. Not gigged or played through since then, just tested.

The amp. head flight case comes with a DBX 266XL compressor. I wouldn't recommend it for studio use but for live work it's fine. There is an empty rack space for effects, tuner etc.

All the equipment is in good condition which is kind of rare now.
