ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ramune Sadauskiene, born in 1986 in Lithuania, is an artist based in Norway, Stavanger-region from 2015, whose paintings have been exhibited in Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Norway and Lithuania.

She represents figurative art. Woman figure, feelings and delicate, sensual erotic themes are most predominant in her paintings. She paints with palette knife and acrylic/oil paint in her own invented technique. Using the figure of a woman as a symbol, she explores the themes of eternity, a happy, fulfilling life. "A woman is a symbol of Mother Earth, the Universe and the Cosmos"-, say Ramune.

Pure and bright colors, decisive and emotional strokes, slightly destorted forms create an exspresionist impression in her paintings.

Ramune's works has been bought by private collectors from Norway, alongside other art lovers from Canada, England, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and United states of America.

In 2020, she received a culture scholarship from Sola municipality. Her paintings were published in the best international erotic art book, London 2021. She is a member of Sola Art Association in Norway.
