Epipremnum aureum is an evergreen climbing vine capable of growing to over 4m in height. It produces glossy bright green, oval-shaped leaves that are spotted and streaked with cream-yellow colouring.

This species is highly tolerant of low light conditions and is an easy to care for houseplant. Also known as Devil's Ivy, amongst other common names.

This species produces cream-yellow to green flowering spikes enclosed by a spathe, but these are rarely produced in cultivation.

Many cultivars have been developed with a range of leaf patterning and colours - including white, yellow and light green variegation.

E. aureum is an evergreen vine growing to 20 m tall, climbing by means of aerial roots which adhere to surfaces. It is a popular houseplant.The leaves are heart-shaped and the flowers are produced in a spathe up to 23 cm long. This plant produces trailing stems which take root when they reach the ground.
