Antique Omani bedouin silver dallah “دلة”
Beskrivelse av varen
A “Dallah” – “دلة” in Arabic – is used for preparing the delicious qahwa served in the Gulf, in this case, in the Sultanate of Oman.
This particular Dallah is in solid silver, 21 cm (8 ¼ inches) tall and weighs 296 grams (9 ½ troy ounces).
The Dallah is dated to the late 19th century or early 20th and in excellent condition.
It is finely made from the silver that was available in that region.
A rare and beautiful example! And a true antique.
