Acrisia formed in San Diego, California while the band members were in seventh grade. Circa 2000-05, while imprisoned at Pershing Middle School & Patrick Henry High School, the band was known as “The Dekoys.” In 2003, the band released the 10 track “Festering” demo to narrow acclaim. The now classic EP, "Sadist Philanthropist," followed up in 2004 (both previously released under the dubious moniker, "The Dekoys").

During their brief existence, Acrisia shared various stages throughout Southern California and the East Bay with such bands as Avenged Sevenfold, As I Lay Dying, Eighteen Visions, Ill Nino, The Casualties, and The Virus.  

The above album was recorded in San Diego in 2006. Band members were 18 years old at the time. Several more experimental demo tracks were recorded in Oakland before the band dissolved in 2008.
