Industrial Medical Apothecary Cabinet

One of a kind.

This 1960s medical cabinet is made from heavy duty steel with toughened glass shelves (4) . Its origins are European. It would have been used in a medical dispensary to keep drugs and medical equipment safely under lock, however has been totally redesigned and restored.

Glass doors and walls have been replaced with clover-perforated steel characteristic for early industrial era.

Now used as kitchen cupboard units and as retail display units.

Or use in the bedroom for folded linens / clothes to follow the new trend for transparent bedroom storage.

Perfect for the industrial themed bathroom or office.

4internal glass shelves but dozens fittings are located inside the cabinet if you decided to add more shelves either more glass ones or wooden.

Restoration:

This unit has been refurbished and cleaned to its one of a kind appearance to bring out the best of its heritage. Surface has been striped from original paint, then sanded, covered with graphite, and then hard waxed.

Condition:

There are signs of wear however the item is fully refurbished.
