Room available in an apartment near UiS, SUS, and Stavanger city center – SHORT-TERM RENTAL and possible LONG-TERM. Rental prices for the rooms can be negotiated.

Looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to live? I have a room available in my apartment, located in a quiet yet central area of Stavanger. The apartment is modern, fully furnished, and ideal for someone who appreciates a mix of personal space and social opportunities.

What makes this place unique?
Energy Efficiency: The apartment has very low electricity costs! Bills are usually around 1200 NOK in the winter and drop to about 600 NOK in the summer. There’s also a cozy fireplace you’re welcome to use to keep warm and save on heating costs.

Beautiful View: The apartment has a stunning view of the surrounding mountains, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting right from your home.

Fully Furnished and Equipped: The room comes with a 120 cm bed and a built-in wardrobe. You’ll also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, which includes an espresso machine – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee at the kitchen table while admiring the beautiful mountain views. I’ve also built a small bar on the balcony, which you can use for relaxed evenings (alcohol not included 😉).

Outdoor Adventures Included: If you’re into the outdoors, you’ll love this! I have a surfboard and other outdoor equipment that you’re free to use, perfect for exploring Stavanger’s stunning surroundings.

Social Opportunities: Twice a year, I host costume parties with friends, and you’re more than welcome to join the fun! On weekdays, I’m usually at work from 07:00–16:00, and on weekends, I might be away traveling or on a cabin trip, so you’ll often have the apartment to yourself.

Convenient Location with Free Parking: If you have a car, there’s free parking available. The apartment is also very well-connected by public transport – buses to the University of Stavanger and the city center are just a 1-minute walk away. Stavanger University Hospital (SUS) is only a 5-minute walk, and you can even walk to the city center in 25–30 minutes. For shopping, the Kilden mall is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

Availability
The room is available starting 01.01.25. Short-term stays are welcome, and there’s a possibility for long-term rental. Exchange students are also more than welcome!
