Vintage Georges Briard Large Victorian Garden Footed Rectangular Platter

I'm pleased to offer this very beautiful rectangular platter by Georges Briard. This platter is in the Victorian Garden pattern, and depicts a cyclamen as the center design element with a violet and lupine on each side followed by a mutlti-shaded green leaves and buds around lip. The border has a two tone scalloped green design that is connected with fine gold lines up to the gold rim. In this large of a piece, the pattern is most striking, well balanced, colorful, and as elegant a design as you will find in better china. What a wonderful piece to serve to special company, or to make a prominent addition to your collection, or both!
