The book contains 140 color and black and white photographs depicting the various stages of his art beginning with absolute realism to absolute abstract expressionism and is a graphic ethnography of Central Europe covering the last six decades. Marian Pauer presents these artistic photographs, which are captured in both Slovak and English in a beautiful bilingual edition. Complemented by an introduction by Milan Rufus, this book is important as a showcase of the art and vast scope of Martin Martinceks various stages of his art covering the last six decades.
