The history of the Hudson deck goes back to 1856, to the banks of the Hudson River in New York City. It was there that the cards of the highest quality were made. The deck became the gold standard for the game of poker and the like. In 1871 the cards suddenly disappeared with the dawn of New York Consolidated.

The theory11 company proudly unveiled a redesigned deck based on Hudson with a completely new design, gorgeous printing and a perfect finish.

The cards have a special coating in the form of microscopic Air-Cushion indentations. You can only see them if you look closely. These holes allow air to get between the cards while performing tricks or shuffling. Thus, the cards do not touch completely, but glide smoothly and just "fly" during the interaction. The cards are dense and pleasant to the touch. Great for magic tricks, simple games, and as a souvenir.
