This stunning vintage ride was designed by Edwin Hall & Co. of Streatham in the late '60s, and manufactured by R G Mitchell that bought the company from Edwin Hall & Co. in 1976.

This is an amazing, original "Edwin Hall" animal manufactured by RG Mitchell. I'd imagine this was made quite shortly after the 1976 take over. I don't think we're likely to see many more of these

The footplates, handlebar etc. are all RGM-style but, most interestingly to me, the paintwork (which I believe is original) is in the style in which RGM painted all their own animal rides in the 1970s. The base looks a bit larger than an original Edwin Hall one too, but could be wrong on that and don't have the measurements for this kind of base to compare.

Unfortunately the sqirrel missing the coin operator. The ride works perfectly fine without though.

The mechanical squirrel has a rocking action driven by an electric motor in it's base.

Fiber glass body and base, highly decorative and in good condition

This large and robust ride would take up to a small adult,

I bought it in Norway 17 years ago, and are now considering selling it.
