Beskrivelse av varen
Gibson Invader fra 1985, serialnr. 80035542, produksjonsnr. 42.
The Gibson Invader is an electric guitar model that was produced by Gibson from 1982 to 1985. It was designed as a high-performance instrument with a number of features intended to appeal to heavy metal and hard rock guitarists.
The Invader features a sleek, angular body shape with pointed horns and sharp lines. It is typically made of solid mahogany or maple, with a set-neck construction for increased sustain and resonance. The guitar also includes two humbucking pickups, a tune-o-matic bridge, and a stopbar tailpiece.
One unique feature of the Gibson Invader is its "speed neck" profile, which is designed for fast playing and easy access to high frets. The neck is also relatively thin and has a flat fingerboard radius, making it ideal for shredding and other fast, technical playing styles.
While the Gibson Invader was only produced for a short time, it has gained a following among collectors and musicians who appreciate its distinctive style and high-performance features. The Invader has been used by a number of notable guitarists in the heavy metal and hard rock genres, including James Hetfield of Metallica, George Lynch of Dokken, Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden and C.C. DeVille of Poison.
