Elliott and tracy take on running the hotel with gusto - and get to know the hotels slightly eccentric guests: a survivalist in the boiler room, a residential hooker, rock n roll singing maids and a visitor from another planet who films everyones activities so he can show them to the folks back home. Their efforts to revitalize the rosebud Beach works so well that a larger hotel chain is sending the buyer down to an offer-just as daddys unscrupulous friend lights the match
