Vinylester kombinerer de beste egenskapene fra epoxy og polyester.

Vinylester anbefales til reparasjoner, spesielt under vannlinjen pga svært god heft til eksisterende glassfiber. Vi anbefaler ikke polyester til utbedringer under vannlinjen, som for eksempel ved montering av thrustertunell.

Vinylester er også vanntett og har bedre motstand mot kjemikalier enn polyester.

Herderen er den samme som for polyester og herdetiden er nesten like kort som for polyester.
