We are looking for a structured, proactive team player who is efficient and has high work capacity. You thrive to develop, operate, maintain and support solutions that supports the process and functional needs of the Norwegian base Network, ensuring alignment with IT strategy and architecture.
In this role you will manage and coordinate the IT Networks related activities with stakeholders from the business units. You will manage the demand and supply to ensure that IT has the needed resources and competency to support the business on an agreed service level.
In this position you will be part of a team that moves Norwegian IT from an onprem datacenter to a cloud based platform.
The position is located at Fornebu and reports to Senior Manager IT Operations.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- You have bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or similar. Relevant other experience can compensate for this.
- You have good technical and domain knowledge of IT systems.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English – written and oral.
- You have experience with vendor relations.
- You are positive, seek solutions and like working with others that motivates by delivering a great solution to the company.
This job will be for you if have:

- General skills with L3 routing.
- General skills in VLAN, Switching, trunking and routing.
- Central management of Network Equipment
- Firewall configuration and management
- Experience with Cisco, HP, HPE, Aruba, Fortinet firewalls, WiFi
- Knowledge about Cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge about Active Directory including Azure AD .
- Knowledge about Microsoft Office 365 (Sharepoint/Teams/Exchange online).
- Knowledge about Microsoft Windows Servers.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Manage network configuration at offices and airports across Europe. HPE Comware, Aruba switches.
- Design and implementation of large-scale enterprise network with exposure to Network Security, Firewalls, Proxy, IPS devices and remote access solutions
- Advisory, design and implementation of Enterprise Data Centre Network with Exposure to Muti-Vendor Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) and cloud-based security
- Planning, coordinating and determine how they fit into business capability roadmap and priorities.
- External vendor relationship
- Be updated on IT trends/systems within their area of responsibility.
- Focus on standardization of process, procedures, and documentation.
- Advanced troubleshooting to support our network operations team.
Required experience
- 5+ years of functional experience in the business function
- Good technical and domain knowledge of IT systems within the business unit
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English – written and oral
- Technical experience with network solutions and integration between systems and applications
- Experience with vendor relation
