Upgrade your workout routine with our functional strength program! 🏆
Improve your skiing skills with our specially developed strength program, designed for a 14-week period and divided into four phases. Each phase lasts several weeks (Off-season: 6 weeks, Preparation season: 6 weeks, Pre-season: 1 week, Competitive season: 1 week). The program is characterized by its flexibility, exercise variety, and focuses on key aspects such as strength, energy, agility, speed, endurance, and flexibility. To reap the full benefits of the program, a minimum completion of 75% is recommended.

The program requirements are straightforward. You should at least be able to perform:
- Barbell Step Up 4 times.
- Barbell Hip Thrust 4 times.
- Australian Pull Up 4 times.
You only need a few pieces of equipment to get started:
- 3 to 5 hurdles of 30 cm height (Alternatives: 3 to 5 chairs or boxes).
- Balance pad (BOSU).
- SkiErg machine (free-standing).
- Miniband.
- Swissball.
Our program is filled with content that will strengthen you:
- Mobility and stretching exercises.
- Basic and auxiliary exercises plus conditioning exercises.
- Plyometric and explosive exercises.
- Exercises that improve balance and body control as well as skills.
- Three lines of defense to protect against injuries.
The program is flexible and can be adjusted to your daily activities. There are no set days for the training sessions. You can train both at the gym and on the football field. All exercises are explained and supported by videos (Internet access is required), so you don't need a personal trainer.
However, remember, this program may not be suitable for everyone. It is not recommended for people with type 1 diabetes, the elderly, pregnant women, boys under 16 years old, or those with acute, strain-related, or chronic injuries.
So if you're ready to take your strength and conditioning to the next level, and you want to become a skilled skier or participate in local competitions, this program is for you. But if you're looking to become a bodybuilder, or if you just want to focus on a specific exercise like deadlifts in your workouts, this might not be the right program for you.
