The nut is a Graph tech Black TUSQ. This fine axe has a double action truss rod, custom carbon fiber truss rod cover and black gloss Gotoh tuners. All electronics are shielded with copper shielding tape. The pickups are Kent Armstrong M213k in the neck position at 7.79 k and M215k in the bridge position at 12.44 k. The two humbuckers are controlled by two 500k Bourn mini pots. Blending the two or turning on and off is how sound caricaturists are sculpted, along with the on on on mini switch. The down position on the the mini switch is both pickups in humbucking mod with massive sustain. The middle position puts the pickups out of phase for a quaking tone and the switch all the way up puts both pickups into single-coil mode for a more Tele sound. The 500k mini Bourn tone pot with a Sprague Orange Drop cap, 0.033, controls both pickups. This guitar is also quipped with a Tesi Switch for the strobe affect and the option to mute when plugging in or out of a hot cable. This axe has a custom made jack plate with a switchcraft jack. The Gotoh 510UB stopbar bridge is adjusted tight to the body creating massive sustain, while being in a fast low playing spec of 1.30 mm on low E and 1.00 mm on the high E at the 12th fret, an adjustment was recently made removing some of the finish under the footprint of the bridge to achieve this low fast playing adjustment, this is only noticeable on the back side of the bridge, it also aids in string replacement. The guitar comes with 3 bridge adjusting tools. The largest wrench sets the height, the smallest also goes down into the height adjustment hole to lock things tight. The medium size wrench adjusts foreword and back positioning of bridge. The guitar can be set up higher if need be. Guitar comes with Dunlop strap lock buttons. These buttons can be used with the locking system or with out. Electronics all held in place with a carbon fiber control plate.
