The base is made out of nano particles which glide on snow like race skis with wax base. Uphill the particles help to kick along powerfully. The ski core of the YOKO YXS Optigrip is lower than other classic skis. Because of that the YOKO YXS Optigrip is not hard but stiff and light. The grip zone goes over the whole ski and there is no need for different weight classes.

Skis with Optigrip nano coating do not need waxing in any snow and weather conditions. Only base cleaning every now and then is required :)

Optigrip skis are always ready to go – everybody can enjoy skiing without knowing anything about ski waxing! Optigrip coating lasts for years and the skis will work for thousands of kilometres. Made in Finland.
