About the position
Due to the complex nature and longer bid cycles of our sales processes we have an immediate need for a bid manager.
The role shall be to implement, manage and enhance the process of capturing customer requirements, formulating a bid plan and programme and coordinating input from all stakeholders. Ensuring a smooth, timely and professional bid or proposal is presented to customers including through various iterations and revisions.
The Opportunity
- Capture key customer requirements and win criteria.
- Oversee and maintain the CRM sales process, including planning timelines, scheduling approval gates, documenting decisions, and organizing communication during a sales bid.
- Develop and implement repeatable and quality sales support documentation for use in RFI/PQQ and RFP processes.
- Support the production of customer proposals and presentations, including providing input for pitches.
- Present Bulk's value proposition as required.
- Attend industry events to develop knowledge of the sector.
Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver winning proposals on time and within budget.
To succeed in this role, we also believe you have:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with proven experience in managing complex bid processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data center solutions.
- Experience working with CRM systems, bid lifecycle management tools, and sales methodologies.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver high-quality proposals under pressure.
Key responsibilities
- Capture key customer requirements and win criteria to ensure proposals meet specific needs.
- Develop and manage bid plans, including timelines, approval gates, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the sales process, maintaining clear documentation and communication throughout the bid cycle.
- Support the creation of compelling customer proposals and presentations.
- Assist with sales presentations and provide input on proposal content.
- Articulate BULK's value proposition to potential clients.
