Mechanical Engineer/Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer/Senior Mechanical Engineer is part of the mechanical engineering team and will work closely with other discipline engineers and technical coordinators
Duties and responsibilities
- 3D modelling in Autodesk suite of products (Inventor, Vault etc)
- Design and calculations for lift and handling equipment according to specifications and budgets
- FEM analysis and hand calculations, including documentation
Assist concept and systems engineers with technical details during sales and pre-engineering phases - Produce production documentation (2D drawings made in Inventor)
- Documentation for class approvals
- Participate in production of technical documentation for installation parties and end-users
- Cooperation with procurement and outsourcing department and contact with suppliers for specification and selection of components and clarifications during production
- Perform peer review of drawings made by other co-workers
- Participate in cross-discipline cooperation during project detailing phase
Qualifications
- University degree (3-5 years) in mechanical engineering or similar degree
- Good mathematical skills and strong in mechanical subjects
- General interest for mechanics and technology
For the senior position:
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering or similar
