The Nakamichi IA-3 Integrated Amplifier was designed with one overriding concern: superb sound quality.

And if one accepts the premise that virtually every component in an amplifier's signal path can degrade sonic purity, then one begins to appreciate the refined engineering and bold design decisions embodied in the IA-3.

Only the most essential controls and features are provided. Complex circuitry has been eschewed in favour of simple designs that perform their necessary functions while maximally preserving signal integrity.

This simpler is better approach also results in an added benefit: the IA-3 is remarkably affordable.
