We are looking for our next Director of Sales, Nordic & Central Europe
Are you looking for a job opportunity that will allow you to grow with an award-winning company? SeaDream Yacht Club is currently seeking a Director of Sales for Central Europe and the Nordic region to join our growing team.
JOB PURPOSE:
Develop and lead the sales activities and teams in the Nordic & Central Europe regions. Identify new sales arenas, distribution channels and markets in the region.
Increase the revenue by developing and managing a professional sales team that will work towards the travel- and MICE industry.
We are looking for an outgoing personality that can work independently and in teams, preferably with a background from a similar position. We offer a professional workplace with highly skilled and experienced colleagues from the cruising/yachting industry.
The position is based at our Norwegian office in Billingstad and will require a certain amount of travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for business development and sales in the Nordic & Central Europe markets.
- Develop and manage a professional sales team, ensure best practice use, and drive results and growth.
- Develop and grow the travel- and MICE industry revenue within the region.
- Identify new opportunities and new markets within the region.
- Plan and implement sales- and marketing activities towards the travel- and MICE industry.
- Develop and implement sales- and budget plans for Nordic & Central Europe regions.
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Higher relevant education.
- Minimum 4 - 8 years of management experience.
- International sales experience, preferably from the travel industry.
- Experience within project- and change management.
- Solid communications skills in English, and preferably Scandinavian languages.
- Analytic mindset – ability to develop and implement new strategies.
- Can translate strategy into action and results, both in relation to own plans and customer strategies.
