The "Hi Cut" chair created by star designer Philippe Starck is characterized by a bold mix of colors and a successful amalgamation of transparency and opacity as well as smooth and corrugated surfaces. The backrest is adorned with a colored band made of pleated, translucent polycarbonate. Like a piece of jewelery, this ribbon adorns the minimalist basic structure of "Hi Cut" and gives it a cultivated look. The vertical corrugated stripes on the surface of the decorative ribbon catch the light and reflect it, creating an extraordinary play of colors and light.

This enchanting chair also plays with contrasting shapes: the front feet, the seat and the backrest have a strict, angular shape, while the rear feet have gentle, curved lines.
