As a Project Commercial Manager at Ocean Installer, your expertise will shape our path to project success.
- You will lead efforts to boost company profitability and seize growth opportunities within project contracts. You will work towards both commercial and operational objectives while managing risks.
- Your role includes being our company's representative in client interactions, building strong client relationships, and expertly managing project-level contracts, including subcontract negotiations.
- You will resolve contractual and commercial challenges, ensure contract compliance, and lead the Variation Order process. You will oversee all contractual and commercial aspects, drive performance reporting, and influence subcontractor selection.
- Additionally, you will provide crucial support to the Project Manager in contract administration, budgeting, cost reporting, and project organization.
What you need to succeed? - We are seeking candidates with an educational background at the degree level or higher in fields related to law, commerce, or business. Alternatively, industry veterans with equivalent experience in the oil and gas sector are encouraged to apply.
- In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of contract management, particularly within the oil and gas industry, coupled with a strong grasp of the technical and contractual intricacies of subsea construction.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, and we highly value personal attributes such as a sharp commercial acumen, a results-oriented mindset, exceptional negotiation skills, outstanding organizational and communication abilities, and a proven track record of performing and delivering under high-pressure situations while consistently meeting deadlines.
