Where do I start.... with a very heavy heart I sell my beloved campervan that has been incredible over many many years.

Next year this van will become a 'veteran', making it extremely cheap to own!

MECHANICAL ELEMENTS

2.4 litre diesel - plenty power for steep norwegian mountains

5m long (so still within cheapest rates on ferries)

Many repairs and services done recently (see photo)

Steering wheel is on the right (due to import from UK)

Long wheel base version - feels large and comfortable inside

RECENT WORK DONE AND MECHANICAL CONDITION

Other small maintenance and repairs are not shown - only significant works.

The main work was to get it through the EU control, the very recent receipt it replacement of the door roller as the door was a bit sticky and not easily closing - it runs perfectly now.

IMPORT/REGISTRATION

The van was imported by me from the UK and is now fully registered in Norway as a Norwegian car.

The wheel is on the right hand side.

It is registered as a car which is very useful as (via gjensidige insurance anyway) you can rent it out on Finn for example without changing your insurance.

It is registered to carry 4 passengers and has 4 seat belts.

Standard class of vehicle for tolls etc (same as normal car)

Canopy not included - it is lost in my storage unit at the moment (recently moved to Oslo).

KNOWN PROBLEMS

When there is exceptionally heavy rain there is a very small leak in the roof which needs attention. It is only during exceptionally heavy rain but I warn here that it might need attention or would be wise to look at.

There is damage around one of the wheel arches. This damage was caused before the EU controll and the van passed without any issues (it is not structural damage, only cosmetic). It is unknown if this damage might be problematic in the future so no warranties are given against it - but in the EU control it was no problem.

The lever to release the hood broke and was replaced with a simple solution where you need to pull the cable manually - this functions absolutely fine when you know how to open it.

The internal cabin heater control is broken, however you can take off the cover and turn the control inside without any issues - so it still works.

There are some rust patches which should be expected for an old vehicle

There is a dent on the right side (only on the metal bodywork) where I skidded on ice and bumped slowly into the crash barrier. No actual damage was caused.

SALE TYPE

The van is sold 'as seen'. All known problems are disclosed however it must be expected for a 1996 van with 300k km on the clock, that further problems may arise in the next few years. Therefore, agreement will be made with the seller and buyer signing a contract that there are no warranties or reclamation on the van if there are further problems arising.
