Role Overview:
We’re hiring a Packaging and Label Developer for our Product Creation team. This role involves collaborating with design and product development teams to create, maintain and enhance packaging and label solutions while ensuring compliance. Essential qualifications include attention to detail, strong project management skills, and a solid understanding of the apparel industry, existing and upcoming regulations. As a Packaging and Label Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to work across all our renowned brands, contributing to their success.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage and handle incoming packaging requests from concept to production-ready files and instructions.
- Collaborate with our sourcing office or vendors to ensure seamless execution of packaging development and production.
- Keep yourself and the team updated on relevant regulations and compliance in the apparel industry.
- Maintain packaging systems, including updating templates according to textile regulations and compliance standards.
- Produce SKU stickers, care labels, hang tags and other SKU-related materials for our apparel collections on a daily basis.
- Be an integral part of our dedicated team of designers and product developers and attend relevant meetings where packaging decisions are made.
- Maintain packaging overviews and create packing instruction manuals.
- Understand how packaging and labeling integrate with the main apparel product and consider all cost implications and lead times for new development.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of higher education in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite (especially Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams).
- Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written).
- General understanding of Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
