We are seeking passionate and skilled Test engineers to join our dynamic team and contribute to our exciting journey. If you are ready to make a significant impact and drive innovation, we want to hear from you.
The test engineer will conduct tests and analyze results in Moss, where OneSubsea umbilicals are manufactured. As members of the Umbilical Engineering Department, they collaborate with product and project teams to verify the design of umbilicals and termination units, ensuring these components can withstand harsh operational and installation conditions and comply with project requirements.
What will you be doing?
- Plan, perform, and report on assigned product tests
- Lead test execution at our manufacturing site in Moss
- Provide reports including analysis of the FEA and experimental test result
- Communicate with end clients and reply to/implement client comments
- Collaborate with project interface engineers according to the planned timeframe
- Maximize the use of standard materials and products
- Understanding of technical procedures under which different tests are conducted
- Adjust workload to accommodate changes in manufacturing schedules and deliver assigned tasks according to the deadline
We think you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or relevant experience
- Experience with physical product testing such as mechanical, electric, or fiber optic elements
- Good communication skills in both English and Norwegian (oral and written)
- Familiar with CAD, preferably SolidWorks
- FEA skills are an advantage
