Pricing Actuary
Take the exposure from 10.000 vessels and units, that combined sail around the globe more than 70 times a day, and have port calls every minute. Add on the many unknown risks connected with insuring new technology required to meet the ambitions of a net zero society. What could possibly go wrong? And how do we optimise the balance between risks and opportunities in this scenario? If these questions spark your interest, please continue reading.
Norwegian Hull Club is looking for a Pricing Actuary who wants to take their career to the next level. If you’re eager to explore what’s actuarially possible in a world of low frequency, high severity claims, you could join a recognised world leader in marine and offshore energy insurance.
To ensure that we continue delivering excellence in our underwriting capabilities, Norwegian Hull Club is seeking a Pricing Actuary who will be instrumental in identifying and addressing issues that demand thorough analysis. Underwriting excellence is a core ambition for Norwegian Hull Club. Through enthusiastic and inspiring promotion of a variety of statistical and pricing tools, models and visualisations, as well as analysis and assessment of the portfolio, emerging risk factors and other aspects influencing the expected and actual insurance result, the successful applicant will play a key role in further strengthening The Club’s underwriting processes. With constant advances in computational analysis and access to feature-rich data, this role will only increase in importance over time.
