KSAT Seeks Experienced Director of Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our operational engineering department and contribute to the KSAT growth by provision of effective, secure and resilient technical services.

As the Director of Engineering, you will oversee both front-end, back-end, site and infrastructure operations at KSAT globally, manage engineering team leaders for several technical disciplines, drive HW/SW improvement/development projects, and ensure compliance with security regulations.

Your role involves setting requirements, priorities, goals, and timelines, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for new customers, integrations and tools.

The position reports to the COO and will be part of the Operations leadership team.

Your Mission:

Strategy and Priorities:

• Enable and lead Global Operations Engineering in KSAT to support the realization of overall strategic goals and the fulfilment of the KSAT strategy.
• Foster digitalization in KSAT through recommendations, initiatives, and roadmaps to provide better service to clients and perform work more efficiently.
• Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget.
• Design strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resources.

Operations - Service and Product delivery:

• Oversee technical operations of sites, infrastructure, front-end and back-end systems to ensure high quality services to customers.
• Monitor reliability and performance of all internal/external infrastructure and systems to suggest improvements.
• Designs and oversees the implementation of governance and ways of working that helps the engineering teams maximize returns from standardization in operations.

Functional Management:

• Oversees the KSAT Operational Engineering functions to meet strategic planning, budget management, communication, and functional coordination goals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, sustainability, license and security regulations.
• Manage portfolio of HW/SW tech refresh projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines.
• Oversee implementation and improvement of innovative technologies, new integration and tools to operations.
• Oversees sourcing decisions and scalable vendor management processes to meet business demand and facilitate efficient delivery, in both short and long term.

You should have a strategic mindset, with the ability to drive digital transformation and innovation across the organization. Your financial acumen and experience in budget management will be critical in ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.

Your communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success. Experience in vendor management and sourcing strategies will be beneficial, ensuring we maintain efficient and scalable operations. Ideally, you hold an advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, further supporting your ability to excel in this role.
