The position
By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:Contribute in some of the most exciting projects in Equinor's energy transition. You will be part of the Project Control and Analysis competence center within Project development, delivering project control services across our global project portfolio.
Drive establishment and implementation of Equinor’s project planning methodology according to business case, development phase and strategies.
Collaborate and build strong relationships with respective disciplines and stakeholders to ensure high quality project planning deliverables, like eg. network planning and schedule risk analysis along with Strong collaboration with suppliers and close follow up of contract obligations and deliveries.
Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project progress to identify potential risk areas, forecast progress, critical path, float and schedule outcomes.
Provide the project team and management with critical, decision-making information that ensures projects deliver on time and within targets.
Support the project team by managing project scheduling activities from the design phase to project close out. Contribute to continuous improvement of Equinor’s templates, methods, procedures, and tools within the planning discipline.
Contribute with experience transfer to base organization, including input to “close-out” and experience reports.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate relevant project planner experience with previous experience from complex field development projects within oil and gas or construction industry.
Knowledge and/or interest in big data management, analysis, and visualization.
Good understanding of complex multidiscipline project developments with a proven track record of project control deliveries within planning.
Excellent analytical, presentation, communication and influencing skills.
Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and ambitious targets.
Interest in analysis of complex project data and visualization with a curious, proactive, commercial, and accountable attitude.
Willingness to occasionally travel depending on project needs will be an advantage.
Fluent English both written and oral required.
