Our Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will be responsible for leading the company’s sales strategy and execution. This executive role involves developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The CSO will oversee the sales team, manage key client relationships, and collaborate with other departments to align sales initiatives with the overall business objectives.
You will have the opportunity to work with leading-edge autonomy and unmanned systems technology and solutions within several market areas. Not least, you will become part of a pioneering and technological environment,
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to achieve company revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Ensure customer sales inquiries are promptly addressed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to meet sales goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, operations, service, and aftermarkets, to align sales strategies and activities with the company’s goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and forecasts, providing periodic reports and actionable insights to senior management.
- Represent Maritime Robotics in media, at trade shows, and through business travels to enhance brand visibility and market reach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, with at least 5 years in a senior role focused on international sales.
- Proven track record in driving sales growth and expanding market presence in the maritime or technology sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and the ability to anticipate market trends.
- Willingness and enthusiasm for international travel as required.

Place of work:
Primarily at our headquarter in Trondheim, but we may consider some flexibility for the right candidates. The positions report to the CEO and are part of the senior management.
