Peter Kenneth Frampton (born 22 April 1950) is an English-American guitarist, singer and songwriter who rose to prominence as a member of the rock bands the Herd and Humble Pie. Later in his career Frampton found significant success as a solo artist. He has released several albums, including his breakthrough album, the live recording Frampton Comes Alive! (1976), which spawned several hit singles and has earned 8× Platinum by the RIAA in the United States. He has also worked with various other acts such as Ringo Starr, the Who's John Entwistle, David Bowie, and both Matt Cameron and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam and Joe Bonamassa.

Where I Should Be is the sixth studio album by English musician and songwriter Peter Frampton, released on 30 May 1979 by A&M Records. The album was certified gold by the RIAA on 3 July 1979.

Released in May 1979, the album achieved gold status and yielded the hit "I Can't Stand It No More", which peaked at #14 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
