TOMRA, named Norway’s Most Innovative Business in 2023, is a leader in sensor-based sorting and recycling and is seeking an Intellectual Property Administrator to join our team at our head office in Asker.
As our IP Administrator, you'll be an essential member of the TOMRA IP group, managing the daily administration of our intellectual property assets. You'll work closely with TOMRA IP counsels, playing an important role in protecting and advancing our intellectual property rights.
Main responsibilities
- Administration of TOMRA’s IP portfolio management system and IP search system
- Coordinate and optimize internal processes for the management of IP documents
- Assist with filing and handling of patent, design and/or trademark applications and liaise with external IP law firms
- Handle formalities associated with IP assignments, IP contracts, NDAs and IP powers of attorney
- Manage documentation for TOMRA’s inventor remuneration policy
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience with IP administration (patents and/or trademarks) in an IP law firm or in a company IP department, with knowledge of major IP systems (NIPO, EPO, WIPO, EUIPO)
- Holding an IP administrator certification, such as European Patent Administration Certification (EPAC) or membership in the Norwegian Association of Intellectual Property Administrators, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of IP management software and IP search software
- Interest within complex IP administration processes
- Well-developed communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Good personal relation skills
