We are looking for a Chief Sales Officer, a strategic leader who enjoys being hands-on with the sales processes!
Our new Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will be responsible for driving the company's sales strategy and overseeing all sales activities, both nationally and internationally.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution in a fast-paced and evolving business.
As our new CSO, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.
The CSO will be part of the company’s executive leadership team and participate in strategic decision making, and thereby play a critical role in our company's future growth and success.
Main responsibilities
- Strategic sales leadership
- Develop and implement the company's overall sales strategy, set ambitious targets and identify key sales opportunities and markets
- Team management
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing sales team and foster a culture of success and continuous improvement
- Sales operations
- Ensure the efficient functioning of the sales team, implement and manage sales processes, tools and technologies
- Client relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Market analysis and strategy
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis, and adjust sales strategies in response to market changes and opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience from a senior sales leadership role, preferably as a CSO or similar position
- Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management and sales operations
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing multiple sales divisions
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
The place of work can either be at our headoffice in Stavanger, alternatively in our Oslo office.
This position offers occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
