Do you want to be part of an exciting journey in a company with great growth ambitions? We are introducing the role as Performance Director and are looking for a committed and strategically minded person to take the responsibility of overseeing and optimizing the performance of Azets Norway.
With a focus on digitalization and growth, we in Azets are embarking on a five-year strategy to become a stronger and better company, increasing market share with a combination of organic growth and strategic M&A. As our Performance Director, you will be a strategic and operational capacity that understands Azets' financial business potential and risk and be an ambitious and commercial partner to the CEO. Your role will include:
Strategy & Planning:
- Development of strategy into executable service delivery plans for each business unit that will achieve short- and long-term growth and profitability and efficiency targets.
- Performance Analysis of KPIs and other data to identify areas for improvement.
- Process Optimisation - Implement process changes and monitor their impact on business performance, including leveraging technology to drive efficiencies particularly around automation and digitisation.
Driving Operational Excellence:
- Quality Assurance, ensuring that services are delivered with agreed-upon standards and benchmarks. Embedding strong governance and performance metrics that drive margins and profit, converting all commercial contracts to profitable operations.
- Data Driven decision making, utilising data and MI to better understand the needs of the company and our customers and inform the future direction of the business.
- Continuous Process Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements to streamline service delivery, facilitating standardisation of processes across the company and realising efficiencies by centralising common services, including through offshoring / nearshoring.
- Post-Acquisition optimisation, alignment of newly acquired entities into the wider group to quickly realise improvements in efficiency and profitability.
- KPI monitoring and reporting - Ensuring the business is delivering on its strategic commitments.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Working with country leadership and other stakeholders across Norway to modernise operations and facilitate change, working hands-on to understand business drivers and implement new ways of working.
- Provide guidance, coaching and performance feedback to team members.
- Reporting and Analysis - Prepare regular reports on service performance and programme delivery. Analyse data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Presentation of findings to senior leadership within the group, with the ability to discuss financial and business implications of programmes and changes.
Azets is an international company, and our owners are very ambitious on our behalf. We will grow a lot in the coming years, and as our Performance Director, you will be very central in preparing plans and realizing these to achieve our goals. Therefore, it is important that you are a development-oriented person who adopts several perspectives and has the ability to think differently and see new opportunities.
We believe that the candidate who is most successful has at several years of experience of progressive leadership experience in performance management or strategic operations. Further, you have knowledge of, and experience with implementing relevant performance management frameworks and tools, executing high-impact improvement projects. Experience with managing a P&L for significant business units and/or programmes will be useful, as well as relevant experience in performance management, service delivery or continuous improvement. You should be able to demonstratable project or programme management experience.
It is a prerequisite that you communicate well in both Norwegian and English, written and oral. As a person, you are independent with an analytical mindset. You are able to balance the need for development and change with the understanding that not everything should or can be changed at once. You have experience in leading and developing others and are driven by seeing results through your team. Your approach is characterized by humility, integrity and a relational approach, always with an ambitious touch.
This is an exciting opportunity in a establised and well-run group. The position reports to the CEO in Norway, with a dotted line to Group Operations Director in UK. Office location is flexible and, since there will be some travel required, hybrid working with a base of working from home is not a problem.
