What we’re looking for
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing advanced data analytics capabilities to extract valuable insights and identify trends, empowering our organization to make sound business decisions.
We have a clear ambition to apply the insights we make to reduce our environmental footprint and improve the efficiency of our operations. You will be part of the Shipping Digitalization and Innovation team, building our capabilities in utilizing the power of advanced analytics in converting data into insight and decision support.
The Digitalization and Innovation team have the ambition of driving operational improvements through innovation, digitalization, and systematic management of quality and performance .
Responsibilities
- Utilize cutting-edge data analytics tools, machine learning techniques and methodologies to analyse complex datasets and extract valuable insights.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Create clear and concise reports that communicate insights effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, enhancing efficiency with AI-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging data analytics trends, and advancements in AI and machine learning to enhance our capabilities.
- Work with data teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data used for analysis.
Qualifications and experience
- Background in Data Science, Analytics, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a business context.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python and SQL.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques using Power BI or similar tools.
- Experience working in an Azure environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for conveying complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- A desire to innovate and drive initiatives to implementation.
