The position
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the shaping and development of our future facilities in the oil & gas sector as well as low-carbon solutions, including hydrogen and carbon capture and storage projects. Our work encompasses everything from early-phase studies to detailed engineering phase for Equinor's large investment projects, both new builds and extensive modification projects. Equinor has a large active discipline network within process technology, with extensive experience and active contribution to national and international standards, rules and regulations.
By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:
Take on the role as discipline lead or discipline engineer within the process discipline in investment projects in all project phases, from early phase to hand-over to operations.
Follow up and collaborate with engineering contractors to ensure fit-for-purpose process design and process safety solutions according to contract and relevant rules and regulations.
Perform, check and monitor process design development work such as calculations, simulations and reports.
Collaborate with other disciplines and functional areas in order to find the best solution for the Company.
Participate in preparation of tender documentation and establishment of contract.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferably in Chemistry or other relevant qualification.
Experience of software systems typical for process engineering.
Strong competence and experience with process discipline work and knowledge of national and international rules and regulations within your discipline.
Ability to understand the value chain from well to market and project totality.
A collaborative team player capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently and prioritizing when required.
Frequent business travel may be expected.
Proficiency in the English language, with strong skills in both written and oral communication.
