Project Engineer

In this position you will contribute to further develop of the company’s technology products on a project-by-project basis. In this exciting position you will do mechanical design and engineering, prototyping and qualification, as well as commercialization activities.

Responsibilities:  

• Requirements definition
• Identification of the best conceptual solution to address the requirements
• Estimate cost and timeline for various types of technology projects
• Contribute to ensure projects are executed according to plan, budget and standards
• 3D modelling and drafting (2D drawings)
• Engineering calculations
• Building and testing of prototypes
• Experimental testing and qualification testing
• Create supporting documentation like assembly and user manuals
• Technical support during pilot manufacturing and field jobs on technical- and quality related matters
• Participation in technical discussions with clients
• Improving existing products

The Applicant

• You have experience from R&D / product development (design, engineering, prototyping, qualification, commercialization)
• You have the ability to relate to a system, its elements, and its parameter-space, and prescribe the necessary integration tests
• You are talented and driven
• You are a fast learner, you can work independently, and you work well with others
• You are structured and systemic, and you are good at communicating
• You speak fluent English
• You have a BSc or MSc degree within relevant engineering disciplines
• Preferably, you have 3 years or more of relevant experience
