Artist Biography: Mick Durrant was born in Stafford, England in 1950. He obtained an Honors Degree in art at Sheffield University. In 1980, he won best-selling Picture of the Year for Athena International. Since 1986 Durrant has produced an impressionistic style art using a pointillist technique to achieve his highly individualistic images. He creates deep perspective through his delicate colouring and shading often depicting the peace and tranquility of the Kent countryside.
