We are looking for a Senior Engineer- Flexible Pipes!

Job Description

* Design flexible pipe cross-sections, end-fittings and perform mechanical behavior and stress calculations
* Flexible pipe global analysis, service life / fatigue, interference, in-place analysis and on-bottom stability
* Flexible pipe dynamic riser configuration design and optimization
* Prepare technical documentation and reports
* Prepare technical specifications for ancillary equipment
* Quality surveillance including manufacturing- and supplier follow-up
* Ensure high focus on HSE and Quality throughout engineering tasks
* Support FEED, Study and Tender activities
* Support global SSI (Simplification, Standardization, Industrialization) improvement initiatives
* Travel may be required

You are meant for this job if:

* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in the field
* Strong technical skills in engineering
* Strong communication skills, presentation and coaching skills
* Positive attitude, able to adapt to new technology, and working with different cultures
* Flexible and able to handle hectic periods
* Excellent command of English language
* Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Norway, without sponsorship

Nice to have's:
* Experience with flexible pipe systems
* Experience with Orcaflex software
* Experience with offshore installation and/or fabrication sites
