Join OneSubsea as our new Purchasing Specialist

We are now looking for a Purchasing Specialist who wants to strengthen our team and be part of the exciting journey that has just started. 

In this role you’ll:

• Be responsible for Purchasing to Pay process, from purchase requisition to warranty
• Issue inquiries/evaluate bids according to set strategies and procedures. Deliver at or below budget. Negotiate with suppliers and achieve/document cost savings
• Issue Purchase Orders and actively follow up deliveries. Proactively inform stakeholders on status and main activities. Coordinate with external and internal suppliers to ensure timely execution of PO activities
• Close out of POs according to procedures including LD Claim/Warranty, invoice payment, GR/IR follow up and supplier performance evaluation
• Support sales/tender on enquiries
• Hold supplier meetings, both frequent meetings with strategic suppliers, pre-production meetings and kick-off meetings
• Attend and contribute to team settings. Proactively share information
• Contribute to supplier selection
• Contribute to improvement projects in the department

To join us you’ll need:

• Master or BA degree within Supply Chain Management or Logistics, secondly within Business Admin./Industrial Economy in addition to minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience within Procurement positions from the Oil and Gas Industry
• Proven experience within relevant Procurement positions from the Oil and Gas Industry may compensate for lack of formal competence
• ERP experience, preferably SAP (MM-module) 
• Commercial understanding and documented experience from negotiations and cost reductions 
• Experience in buying a wide range of products of various complexity 
• To deliver according to the projects' expectations (Cost, On Time Delivery, Quality)
• Knowledge on supplier market in the industry
• Good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
• Be a team and relation-builder with cultural understanding
