Amicoat is expanding and seeking a Business Development Manager to strengthen our team at our site in Asker. We are passionate about reducing healthcare-associated infections (HAI) in a sustainable fashion. Our antimicrobial technology is inspired by Nature’s own defense against infections and has the potential to reduce HAI which can save both lives and hospitalization time, and is the result of decades of research performed at UiT the Arctic University of Norway. Our solutions can also reduce the need for treating HAI with antibiotics and are more sustainable than current antimicrobial technologies such as silver and antibiotics. What will you do?
- Develop and execute strategies to expand Amicoat's partner portfolio within the Medical Device industry
- Identify and approach new prospects that are applicable for Amicoat's technology
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing and new partners in Amicoat's portfolio
- Drive the development of new market initiatives
- Collaborate closely with organization to support project executions and the contracting of new partners
- Execute and develop Amicoat's marketing, branding and communication strategies

Required qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree in Science, Industrial Economics, Technology Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-5 years in Business Development or other commercial role within the Life Science, MedTech or Biotechnology sectors
- Strong understanding of business growth strategies, with demonstrable success in driving business growth, expanding market presence, or achieving sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities, with the capacity to clearly and persuasively convey complex information
- Fluent in English and preferably in a Scandinavian language
Desired experiences and skills:
- Strong analytical capabilities with understanding of the MedTech or Life Sciences landscape, including key trends, market dynamics, and the competitive environment
- Relevant experience in the Medical Device or MedTech industry is highly meritorious
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including AI-driven tools
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities effectively
- Experience within digital marketing, branding, and promotional strategies. Ability to develop and execute marketing plans that align with company objectives
