Do you want to join us in further developing an innovating technology? At Isealate, we have developed a unique method for sealing leaks in pipes, primarily for the oil industry. The technology involves rolling up a thin steel plate with applied thin layer of epoxy resin. In the well, the rolled-up steel plate is released and, using its own force, it presses against the pipe wall to seal the leak. More information can be found on Isealate's website.

On the ownership side, we have Welltec, a global technology company that develops and provides efficient, hi-tech solutions for the energy industry. We are now seeking a motivated and skilled employee with expertise in chemistry and/or materials technology.

At Isealate, we are a small team of 7 people, but we aim to grow. We have Welltec supporting us not only in further developing our technology but also in being responsible for the installation of the product. To date we have several installations of our product in different parts of the world.

The skills and qualities we look for for this position:

• You must be able to work in a small team, have the ability to learn and adapt quickly, and then use your education/skills to further develop our core competencies.
• You must be fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in material technology, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or similar fields
• Good knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and an excellent HSE attitude
• Ability to work accurately, in a structured way, and independently
• Solution-oriented

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development/improvement of the company’s technology
• Test existing and new resin compositions
• Research and development related to sealing technology in the fields of chemistry and related materials technology
• Document and report
• HSE responsible for all chemicals
