Procurement Coordinator
We are looking for a new Procurement Coordinator to join our Team!
As a Procurement Coordinator you will combine technical knowledge with guidance and experience. You will be interfacing with engineering, product line management, technical sales and technical support in an early stage of customer orders and projects. You will create and follow up procurement tasks related to this and ensure delivery of the products ordered. You will engage with suppliers of services and raw material for the deliveries. Missing a deadline is not an option for you. You are part of a supply chain and procurement team and will follow up daily duties within the department.
Key responsibilities
- Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources in order to assist the supply chain team and procurement in accomplishing company goals.
- Coordinate quotes and purchases for all Archer Oiltools products
- Assist/lead in procurement tasks related to projects and customer orders
- Manage supply process including use of ERP system to achieve process compliance
- Manage suppliers and follow-up deviation
- Document control of incoming and outgoing deviation applications
- Customer project management and control
- Preparing reports for Supervisor and Manager
- Recording and maintaining supplier contact data and supply activities in relevant system
- Liaising with other members of the supply chain & procurement team and other technical experts such as engineering, line management and operations.
- Assist in the manufacturing of custom-made products
- Assist and solve manufacturing problems
- Technical support for suppliers regarding questions
- Participate in on-call arrangement
Qualifications we are looking for
Education:
- Certificate of apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree within relevant subject
- 8-10 years’ experience within the industry
- Hold broad knowledge (both technical and operational) of slot recovery, P&A and casing exit.
- Operational and technical knowledge of underlying processes in general of the Oil & Gas industry
- Abel to read and understand technical drawings.
- LEAN experience
- In-depth knowledge of ERP system (IFS) including resource planning
- Experience from manufacturing and sourcing of services and raw material on a national and international level.
- High integrity
- Structured and analytical
- Proactive and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Self-driven and have the ability to work as a valued team player
- Service minded with a good ability to multitask and organize work effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Willing to travel
