Zaptec is looking for a Sourcing Specialist!
As Zaptec's new Sourcing Specialist, you will be an important part of the company forging strong partnerships with potential new suppliers while nurturing and sustaining relationships with our already established suppliers. In this role, you will act as an integral extension of the sourcing teams within our production partners, directly influencing Zaptec's operational efficiency and financial performance. Your expertise and proactive mindset will be key to driving our company's growth and innovation.
- Obtaining quotes from different suppliers, in close collaboration with Zaptec's production partners.
- Negotiate existing agreements and ensure that the service level, cost, and Zaptec's requirements are taken care of.
- Be part of developing sourcing strategies within inventory optimization, sustainability requirements, and the sourcing process itself.
- Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all negotiation details.
- Be a proactive team player to improve company spending.

As for the skills required for this job
- B.sc or similar within Finance, Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar. Relevant work experience can compensate for a lack of education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as negotiation skills.
- Experience in sourcing processes or purchasing.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both spoken and written.
