Sr. Well Integrity Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor ́s degree in Engineering or related field. Master ́s degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in well construction, well intervention and/or production operations
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements regarding well barrier integrity, plugging & abandonment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Main Tasks

• As Senior Well Integrity Engineer, you will ensure long term Well Integrity remains a key consideration across the well life cycle from drilling, operation, well intervention and P&A.
• The role represents an excellent opportunity to influence well design, operational support and technology development. By collaborating and providing support to relevant disciplines (subsurface, subsea, drilling, completion, intervention and production operations), you will ensure that well design, well construction and well operating practices comply with company standards and regulatory requirements
• As Well Integrity expertise holder, you will be responsible for proactive improvement initiatives, also through new ways of working including digitalization
• Represent Vår Energy for well integrity-related matters to partners, authorities, and in industry collaborations
• Work towards sustained Best in Class Well Integrity safety and operational performance
