This is the bayonet, made by the Oesterreichische Waffenfabrik Gesellschaft for the Dutch Mannlicher infantryrifle model 1895.

It was made between 1895 and 1904. In total, c.107,000 infantryrifles were delivered by the OeWG and the accompanying bayonets were made by the OeWG, Weyersberg & Kirschbaum and Alexander Coppel. It is not exactly known how many bayonets each of these manufacturers made. The stacking hook on the bayonet was abolished on the Dutch bayonet in c.1910. The fact that this bayonet still has its stacking hook and is in a good condition makes it quite rare to find on the presentday market.
