Azure Administrator

We are now recruiting for an Azure Administrator in our technology department. As an Azure Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth running of NAVTORs Azure based live services, databases, internal systems and CI/CD pipelines of this. The NAVTOR systems play an important role in the global shipping industry processes, and as such have high quality and availability requirements. Together with the technical teams, you will be part of ensuring that NAVTOR maintains its role as market leader.

As a systems administrator in NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented people with passionate interest in software design.

Duties and responsibilities

• Administration and monitoring of Azure Cloud resources and services
• Available to respond to critical issues outside ordinary work hours
• Research into new technologies that might benefit NAVTORs customers
• Participation on technical conferences, seminars and training sessions
• Participate in continuous process redesign to build a high performing culture

Qualifications

• Good experience with administration of Azure Cloud resources and services
• Passion for IKT technology
  
• Fast learner
• Excellent organizational and structural skills
• Strong attention to quality
• Experience as MS SQL DBA is a plus
• Experience with CLI Powershell is a plus
• Experience with administration of Azure DevOps is a plus
• Knowledge of GIT source control management is a plus
• Knowledge of SCRUM workflows and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Knowledge of ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000/27001 is beneficial
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Certifications within Microsoft Azure Administration or Solution Architecture is a big plus
  

Education:

• Relevant education at university level or equivalent
